Neo Tamarind : 21st Birthday Part 2

It never ends with just one birthday party! two is always better than one :)

Mommy made reservations for dinner at Neo Tamarind, a restaurant located in the heart of KL, along Jalan Sultan Ismail. their interior really blew me away, incredibly luxurious and chic. you'd be surprised how spacious it is on the inside. i love how it is semi-open air! so when you're done with dinner, move that tush of yours to the long bar outside for a cocktail and enjoy the city breeze (well..if you're lucky) ;) owned by Maple Loo and husband, also owner of Bobbi's Pole Malaysia! yeap, the pole studio i'm learning at. a stunning woman whom i emulate <3

before i continue on this amazing dining experience, just a short story!

on our way to dinner, i had this tingling feeling that it wasn't just gonna be the three of us! YES i shamelessly was thinking whether Jasz and Kyean were gonna surprise me when we arrived! i know, i'm a greedy birthday girl thinking i would have 2 surprises, whateves :P i really love surprises okay! i guess being inquisitive really ruined my own surprise... yup, them two "surprised" me when we got there! wasn't too surprised but was extremely thrilled! so sorry it wasn't a total success loves but thank you for making the effort to make it a special night for me :)

okay carrying on :D

my beautiful mother and her welcoming drink
they sat us at a table for 2 (don't know why not 3 but yeah) and the first thing that came to mind was that "oh man, my bunnies aren't here???"

then.. out of nowhere my sweethearts came singing with 2 plates of BANANA CREAM PIE from Just Heavenly! YES I KNOW SO RANDOM!! that's our favorite dessert (kyean and i)! always wanted to take Jasz to have some but we never did! SO CUTE LA YOU TWO!

and of course the Gorgeous handmade fondant cake designed and made by auntie Siew Keng (she makes really delicious and pretty cakes according to your liking, not commercialized as she makes them in her kitchen :)). Thank you mommy! my mom said that the banana cream pies were intentional party packs for kyean and jasz to take home ^.^

And to our REAL table :)

Tujo: Girls Night Out!

So happy to have my pirana Tien (why pirana? long story) back from Sydney for more than a week! I've missed her dearly as she hasn't been coming back to KL as often anymore. I was supposed to meet her in Sydney but plans changed and it turned out better because i got to see her for more days!

We had our little mini gathering on the 1st day of year 2014, haven't been seeing Kyean lately because we are busy people but that never stops us from our catch up sessions. our initial plan was to dine at Troika's sky dining but that didn't materialize as it was apparently closed, who closes on a public holiday anyway? i'm pretty sure loads of people would want to celebrate the 1st day of the year right? pfft.

so anyway despite that tiny disappointment, i thought of Sevenatenine and got to know it's actually been replaced with Tujo, a spacious dining area with still a cozy atmosphere. let the pictures do the talking shall we? :)

Pole thoughts

post Sh'bam practice at home. also post pole gradnight.

got a bad blister on my left palm in the afternoon during my last pole class (yeah.. i don't know why i keep hurting myself, how frustrating!). i decided not to force myself, thus i didn't get to perform my Inter2 routine. on a brighter note, i performed my Amateur Pole Queen Competition routine because it was mostly dance, was pretty nervous because my right ankle hasn't fully recovered and i was wearing my 7 inch heels. giant pair of balls i had to even walk around in them! what more DANCE? can't imagine how much of nagging i would get if my grandma knew about it (pls don't tell her!). That routine won me the title, Devilish Dance Diva! one of my proudest moments! haven't won anything lately and so i was pretty much on top of the world.

it's been 6 months of pole classes now and it's only the beginning.. i can't wait to see how far i can go with pole, bring on the challenge!

Wish List

1. 38mm Brass Pole
2. 38mm Brass Pole
3. 38mm Brass Pole

YES! that's the only thing i want so badly right now! Trying to get myself a Pussycat Pole but they take forever to reply my e-mails!
