No Pain No Gain

After much demotivation and procrastination, I've finally got my ass up and have started with some SERIOUS fitness training. and what's training without a proper diet and a drastic lifestyle change? never have i stuck to any sort of diet i had tried throughout the past years. the drive and enthusiasm would always die within barely a week. and that's when i tell myself "screw you! i'm eating whatever crap i want!" have not stopped telling myself that......until now. I don't believe we should starve ourselves for a flat tummy or go on any the extreme diets. Moderation is the key, i don't want to deprive myself from good food cause i Love food too much! there is always alternatives in eating cleaner and at the same time taste delicious too. Cut the FAsT food and junk food, make a difference :)

When we speak of motivation, there is always that tendency to blame it on our surroundings when all you need is You. honestly, if you really want something there would always be a way to archive that goal of yours. that motivation is mainly within you, i never rely on other people to motivate me because that is only temporary. it's basically a mindset and with that it comes along with Disciplin, like watching out on what you eat and consistently going for your regular workout sessions.

I've only started weight training like very recently and i am so loving the feeling of waking up aching all over the place.

My weakness:

My weakest part of the body would definitely be my arms. been working on them lately and have been seeing some improvement but still very inadequate. i give up very easily and don't push myself enough when it comes to them arms. would any of you gym rats wanna train with me? hehe give me a ring!

27th Golden Disk Awards

I'm really sure all you k-pop fans knew and may have attended the Golden Disks Awards at Sepang which was held for 2 days last week! I honestly didn't even know how big a deal it was until the day itself when i heard T-ara, Kara, G-Dragon and so so many more artist are here in KL! I don't exactly update myself with all these events... so anyway couldn't really be bothered to show any interest until i heard Ailee would be performing! I was so lucky enough to be offered 4 tickets for the second day of the concert! thank you Ginny :) so sweet to have thought of me! haha she's one of my very few seniors i actually keep in touch with huhu.

Kyean, Weng Xian and Lam Shein were the lucky few to come join in the fun that night! Despite the major jam from KL towards MEX highway we totally made it in time... for AILEE!! we were actually an hour late but it's okay, all part of the journey :) Sepang is crazy deeeeeeep inside! thank goodness i was wearing runners! so much calories burnt just from the car park to the stage. the 3 of us racing towards the circuit leaving kyean breathless behind trying to catch up which she did YAY hahahaha! love u kyeannn! the distance was worth the show so no complaints there. 

I couldn't really care to take many pictures because i didn't bring my DSLR and an iPhone5 can't exactly produce clear zoomed-in pictures so screw that. we were standing infront on the left side of the stage because the middle was too crowded and people would probably curse die us if we just CHIONG  in to the front (civilized people ;))  

I was basically very happy because i got to see Ailee, GD, K.Will (who is such a great ballad singer btw!) and Sistar (so so pretty, Hyorin's voice is so sexy she can seduce me just by saying "ahhhhh") 

Still sad that Ailee didn't sing Heaven instead.. oh well she was still incredible! beautiful inside out :) well i assume and believe so anyway :)

20th Birthday part2

Ironically no pictures were taken of the food we had at Ben's earlier in the day! everybody was too busy either eating or talking (that would be me). oh well! Later at night we went to BSC's WIP to just chill and have a drink. turns out a lot of people could still fill their tummies with yummies! what is this? eating at such late hours? tsk.. so bad for Diet (what diet?)...

WIP serves really good food btw!

My 20th Birthday

Hello there! I know i haven't been updating enough but i need to say that Finals are finally over and done with, just hoping i did well enough to make myself proud after so much hard work put in for the past couple of weeks. *fingers crossed* and i can now gleefully start my 3 months of holidays! 3 frrriggginggg months! SO EGGCITED!! where to start? 2 weeks of holidays has already gone by so quickly! my schedule is filled with nothing more than instructing dance classes at gyms and will be for the coming weeks.

My last paper ended on my birthday which was on the 22nd of November! it was a celebration of the end of exams and my birthday! double whammy, couldn't get any better than that can it? mommy picked me up for birthday luncheon!! we decided on some Japanese food so headed to Sri Hartamas for  Rakuzen and at the same time go to Shige's to fix my awful hair condition! my hair has gone from haystack to electrical wires!

the before haircut and treatment! look at how dry my hair is :( and that my friend is my after exam face.. bare and tired. even put on so much weight :( sighhh

didn't take any pictures with my DSLR but oh well. an iPhone is good enough! SO happy with the cut, Shige never ever fails to do such a satisfactory job on my hair. i have been almost everywhere to cut my hair and i dare say he is the best for haircuts!

I also got my hair treated with Japanese hair treatment which totally made it feel sooooo soft and bouncy! i wished it would stay that way forever :(

out of nowhere! i hear my ah beng and ah lian friends singing "HAPPI BIRDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRDAY TO YOU"! OMGGGGG!!!!! *SQUELS* WAS SOOOOOO HAPPY AND SURPRISED UNTIL I ALLLLMOST TEARED! really really! MEL NEVER DO SAPPY AND EMO WELL IN PUBLIC! but i literally wanted to flood the whole restaurant with tears of JOY! 

On the eve of my birthday 2 cuties came at around 12am to wish me! can you guess who they are? :D 

I was actually expecting all of them to be there but it wouldn't be much of a surprise, would it? reverse psycho myself for some self-comforting! hehe  

THIS WAS WAY BETTER! and not to mention, mom's acting has improved tremendously compared to 2 years ago!

I originally made reservations at Twenty One at BSC for all of us, which also explains my outfit! got conned by everyone hahaha, you have no idea how good their acting skills were! 

I SHOUT SHOUT SCREAMSCREAM LAUGHLAUGH UNTIL THE CANDLE ALSO DIED!!

we have all been through so much, and look where we are now.. close as ever and so much love! i'm so glad everything turned out this way eventually because i wouldn't wanna have it any other way. this picture would have been complete if my other babies were there to share the joy and laughter! Rach Liu if you are reading this, i actually really felt one of the girls were missing!!! i couldn't help it but die a little inside. can't wait for you to come back! x

this hiao poh right here has been my friend for more than 10 years.. we definitely have gone through so many rocky moments growing up through those years, i mean to the extent of not being friends at one point. i believe we have a love hate relationship, sometimes we can't stand each other but it can never be for too long we will be back stuck side by side. i make it sound like a relationship huh? it's true though, she means a lot to me even though she can be a stubborn biatch sometimes... My dad who never fails to want to embarrass me in front of people up to this day lol! he would do things like try to kiss me or grab me or even give me a roundhouse kick (VERY GENTLY)  in public! yeah that's just him who can never wants to grow up... still love you much even though you love to irritate me! and i dare say he is the most supportive of what i do, especially when he comes to my dance.

Mommy dearest, what would i do without you. you've pretty much been my backbone all these years. it's true, if it wasn't for you i wouldn't be what i am right now. don't think anything is enough to repay everything that you've given me. always trying to motivate me with your inspiring words even though you know this daughter of yours is extremely hardheaded. i just want to thank you for the love and care you put in since the day you gave birth to me :') and i know i haven't been saying this enough but I love youuuuu.
