morning thoughts...

At times when you're so sure about the things you want in life can and maybe just the things you'd regret having in the end.. let's be honest here, I often do say the word 'regret', but usually only in my head. throughout my years being alive, many people really do have a problem with me saying the word 'regret' and till this very day, every time i say it, people would start to make comments like what's there to regret? it has already been done and there isn't anything you can do about it, like what's done is done. and as the saying goes, don't cry over spilt milk. well yeah that's right i agree to all of that a one hundred percent, but deep down inside there will always be a certain amount of regret, even if it might be just a teeny touch. it is probably normal for us as we are human to make mistakes and repent after. sometimes we make them over and over again, even with us aware of the aftermath. emotions tend to take over while closing one eye towards reality.

Singapore + Vanity

What i miss a lot about Singapore is their Food Republic, especially the one in ION mall because it has one of the best ambiance (which makes the food seem more scrumptious!) and their washroom is really purdy! Always in immaculate condition! (very important! input also need to output if you know what i mean ;)) Well if only they have a non-halal food court like this in the malls in Malaysia. Oklah pretty much frigging impossible, but i can dream can i? hahaha! Everything looks delicious and their quality of the ingredients they use also got standard! Portions are sizable too. My favorite would definitely be the pork noodles soup! so clear, so porkilicious :D and their Siew Kai Yek beats any of the ones at Jalan Alor! The wide selection of Food food food and food is an endless journey! Chinese food is no doubt still the Best :)

I didn't get many pictures of the place and other kinds of food because i was way too lazy to hang the dslr around my neck the entire time so i made my dad do it. Sad to say i regret approving the purchase of the camera because every time i wanna bring it along with me i end up thinking about how big and heavy it is to carry around! The Nikon n1 in pink would be the most ideal to get right now. time to save up! Investment lah hello :P

you can't break what has already been broken.

Time, where opportunities unleashes ahead of you every second of its way. time is an endless ride but your choice to take it slow or fast. it's at a slow pace for tortured souls and fast for happy hearts. i may be a little of a mess right now but i'm at ease, counting my blessings everyday. having such amazing people around me who support and give me much love. how could I ever ask for more..

back on track and not lost anymore, for good this time. Smile because I can.

Let's take a break from Singapore and go back to about a month from today! was thinking since i didn't get to share the pictures i took from Kyean's birthday why not post them here instead. Genius mel. LOL

She had her sweet 20th at Mojo, Heritage Row in KL. stepping into 1970s, the restaurant brought such retro feel with its decoration like disco balls, beaded partitions and a poster of Austin Powers! how can we forget Mr. Powers eh?

it was cute that Kyean blew and brought her own balloons from home, knowing her well she would do anything for a perfect picture.

the night didn't just end there though! after dinner the entire restaurant turned into a "disco" and we started to groove to the beat and the rest is history! heh. nahhh after awhile the DJ started playing crap music so we decided to leave and after a long...long decision making we ended up at The Library in Mid valley for a second round!

Singapore Part1

first stop, Raffles City! a minute walk from my hotel!

they had Steve Madden and i went BALLISTIC! tried all their funky heels, every pair that screamed "6inches"!!!

a lot of them were on 50% sale, how could i resist such a great deal?

so yeah got myself a pair!

gorgeousness written all over it! i can now wear these babies and look "down" on you!

my family can be awarded the most unorganized (or spontaneous) people on earth as we did not bother to book or do any research on what hotels were available and other accommodation stuff. and since our car broke down, mom's client was generous enough to loan us their Hilux! yes yes, lucky us!

at about 12midnight we drove around Orchard and other nearby streets hunting for a place to sleep cause we were pretty much pooped exhausted.

ended up at Carlton Hotel, where we previously stayed during our last visit down. a very decent hotel for its affordable price too.

had the most amazing Burger here at the Chijmes!

this urban hangout spot is located right across from the hotel. formerly a cathedral and now bistros, pubs, cafes and mini clubs have taken over the entire place. creative i'd must say! the cathedral itself is still standing for weddings. didn't get any pictures but i can imagine how beautiful it'd be to hold a wedding there..

way better than TGIF's medium-cooked patty, crispy bacon sizzle to perfection! not to mention the FRIES..wah its freshness...
