Vintage Glam Project

I'm in the midst of revamping my entire room and i really can't wait for it to be completed! ever since i moved into this house donkey years ago my hasn't change, not even a fresh coat of paint, only modifications here and there. well current progress is at 50%. most importantly right now is for me to find a suitable dresser and a big mirror (oh-so crucial). this project has been delayed for months, i could even say a year? yeah i'm miss procrastinator, big time. i've finally realized that your room really makes an impact on your daily life, the fact that it's the first thing you see when you open your eyes really gives you the reason to have it look decent enough to start your day feeing good.. make sense? the best thing about this little project of mine is that it allows me to be the shoes of an interior designer and guess what? it ain't easy! now i understand why people pay so much for just proposed designs for rooms and houses alone. so if you're a color scheme matching genius and incredibly creative, an interior designer as a career path is something to think about!

So far my room really does oozes out my personality, the theme is Vintage Glam. i didn't take long to figure out what kind of ambience i had want to live in because i have always loved all the vintage-y and rustic looking deco we have been seeing these days in cute little cafes and shops! every piece has its own story to tell, basically it's Unique and full of character. the second mix is Glam, how could i ever leave this element out? Bright, Bold and Elaborate. that touch of glamour will bring the room to live! it definitely shouldn't be overdone but it should stand out! Stand out by being subtle. the extra Shine makes the difference..

No pictures of my progress just yet! maybe in the next post :) so stay tuned!

xx
